Knee Replacement & Recovery

Well we’ve been on hold with our travels, as I’ve had to have a total knee replacement!πŸ₯΄ The surgery went well & I made my Doctors top five list for worst knees!!πŸ™„ I didn’t try to!πŸ˜‚πŸ€£

I had wore my bone on bone knee🦴down 3/8″! πŸ˜• Doc said he couldn’t believe I could walk at all! Well it was really painful the last few months before surgery!

But Praise The Lord, I have a new knee! Yippee & it feels awesome! My Physical Therapist was great! She was such a blessing!!πŸ™πŸ» Also, an encourager! I think I was on my second week of PT & she could tell I wasn’t myself! I felt discouraged because I couldn’t bend my knee very much. I was feeling sorry for myself! The devil loves to fill us with doubt & discouragement. Don’t let him!! However, my PT, Renee said…you just had major surgery, just wait….you will feel like a new person! She was so right!!πŸ‘πŸ»

I couldn’t have had a better caregiver than my hubby of 43 years! ❀️ He was so precious to help me in every way & he also was an great encourager. He cooked, cleaned & waited on me πŸ– & 🦢 or should I say πŸ– & knee (no emoji)!! Thank you my love!πŸ₯°πŸ’‹πŸ˜

We’ve been blessed to have full hookups on our precious friends property! We have a beautiful view of their almond orchard! Plus, their place looks like a little taste of Tuscany! We also stayed in their guest room after I had surgery so I didn’t have to go up our 5ers stairs! Thank you Siena Farms aka, Larry & Polly Hunter! We love you like family & cherish our friendship of over 40 years & getting in some serious Mexican Train games, Larry’s ahead of us winning, smarty pants!! πŸ’•

It’s been fun to spend time with our daughter, Bre & her hubby, Timothy but especially our youngest grandson, Tobias. He’s so tall for three years old! He wears size 5 clothes! Thank goodness for FaceTime while we were on the road & after we head out again! Also to have coffee & play Phase 10 with a dear friend/sister, Tami D! Love you Sis!! We always have fun together!

We are excited to get back on the road. Hopefully by the end of March we will be headed South! Our plans are to hit the Grand Canyon Skydeck & Hoover Dam. After that we aren’t sure!! East maybe? πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ It’s great to know we have options & no time schedule!⏰ πŸ“†

Can’t believe we are going into our second year of full timing! We are loving our tiny home & we’ve made it comfy & pretty! So grateful for this time in our lives & excited to see how long we will travel & for the opportunity to live where ever we want!!😎

God is good!!

Stay Tuned! πŸ’ πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ
