What a ride so far & we’ve just got started!!
Our 1st RV Park was CalExpo RV in beautiful Sacramento, Ca. The Staff in the office were so nice & helpful. They took our Good Sam discount which was great. The sites are fairly large & asphalt but not super level & with several pull throughs. For us “Newbies” π€£ you know how helpful this is!! Their wifi was weak but we have our own for that reason. Laundry area was nice. We were able to do a couple of loads. We were there during a major “110*” heatwave so it was hot!! Thank goodness they had 50amp hookups so both of our air conditioners were in full swing!! The RV Park is close to Arden Faire Mall & several restaurants & grocery stores!! Could use more trees for shade but overall it was a nice place!
Our 2nd RV Park was Sacramento River RV Park in between Anderson & Redding, Ca conveniently right off Interstate 5. Visited several family members & several came to see our new “Tiny Home”, which they all loved!! The Park is right along the river but most of those sites are for tent campers. Lots of trees and we were in a very shaded site which was wonderful. Laundry area too but didn’t use. They had wifi but it kept knocking us off. There are several “permanent residents” which is common as we’ve seen. Everything was very clean & tidy. Nice walking path along the river. They have a huge pool & a disc golf area. Not sure what that was but it’s there!! Close to shopping & groceries & a pleasant drive all around. Would stay there again.
Our 3rd RV Park is Waiiaka RV Park in Yreka, Ca. As you can see we don’t travel very far each day!! Taking our time & enjoying retirement & full time RVing so much. This Park is by far the best!! Sites are wide & the staff are awesome. No pool but they do have a laundry room & a play area. Wifi is fiber optic & it’s great!! Just had a knock on our door & Trish, office gal, brought us some fresh popped popcorn! They have a great pet area that’s fenced & is green with grass!! Tomorrow we will explore “Old Historic Town”. Starbucks not far from here too!! βοΈ Loving the cooler weather & Mt Shasta was in her prime as usual, majestic!! π Looking forward to another chillin π week with my sweetheart!!
Next stop is Grants Pass, Oregon on the Rogue River!! βWill keep you posted as we travel along!! ππΊπΈπΈ
Wow, what a nice time you’re having. Sounds like you’re doing it right. I would love to be able to just go camping. We are still looking for the right rv. We prefer the Class A type. We used to have an Allegro. Sure wish we still had it. We’ll I’ll be praying for you on your travels. Love the posts that you giving us. Leta & Roger.

Thanks David. We are loving this life. No family drama, just Ricky & I enjoying each other’s company. Down the road we may do some Camp Hosting. Just excited to see what’s in store for us. But right now we are just enjoying the ride!!
