Boerne, Texas

Boerne (pronounced Burnee) is a darling little German town in the Hill Country of Texas. We are only about 16 miles from the outer loop of San Antonio. We are just finishing up our second month here for Winter & the temps have ranged from 50*-70*+ during the day & 29*-55* at night! 🥴 We are 19 miles from Pastor Hagee’s Cornerstone Church & we are loving it!! Everywhere we go we see Cowboys packing heat in their holsters & it makes us feel safe! We have our CCW certs so guess what? Haven’t seen any gun free zones here! Of course that’s only for law abiding citizens. Criminals don’t care about gun control cause they won’t be giving theirs up! Well anyways…we ate at this darling German Restaurant for breakfast! It’s right across the street from Cibolo Creek & San Antonio River! They have outdoor seating but this morning it was a little windy & was to cold for our bones!!😂 They make wonderful German pastries so we will go back & sit outside & try some & enjoy the viewsHave a blessed week & thank Jesus for 2019 & be expecting something great in 2020!🇺🇸🥳

The staging & special effects were over the top! Plus an altar call after!! Thank you Jesus for your Grace!! Ricky & I both loved it!! Next year they are doing Noah! We also picked up my nephew Scott from the airport as he’s here on business & he went with us to dinner! Then took a Pink Cadillac Limo to Marlowe’s BBQ for a delicious fall off the bone rib dinner with okra, Mac & Cheese, corn fritters. We were stuffed! Today, was again all about Elvis!! We drove a beautiful drive through Northern Mississippi to Elvis’s 🕺birthplace in Tupelo Mississippi! What a darling town! We saw his humble home his daddy built & his church where he sang some! Nice Museum & the grounds are beautiful! On our way home we stopped in Oxford Mississippi to eat some Gus’s World Famous Fried Chicken!! Yummy! It was spicy & the sides were great. Then we went to the Campus of Ole Miss (Rebels)in Oxford! What a beautiful University!! Wow! 🕺😎

Nashville!

We did a Nashville City Tour today & then we strolled down Lower Broadway or The Honky Tonk Highway! It was fun. Went in and listened to some bands. It’s just amazing the History in Nashville!! Some of the biggest Country Stars got their start right on Lower Broadway!! We saw the Parthenon built to look like the one in Greece. Saw the Ryman Auditorium & the Stadium for the Tennessee Titans!! Also saw the Hermitage Hotel that supposedly has a fantastic men’s restroom! LOL Also the beautiful Vanderbilt University. Weather was nice & no humidity! Tomorrow night we are going to the Grand Ole Opry!! Still loving Tennessee!!😎
